i love nerd tv. its awesome. perhaps because i am a nerd, but perharps because i am actually really super cool and now everyone in the television world is starting to realize that.
haha, actually, i think it's probably because now all the people who grew up with the things that i grew up with are finally old enough to be in a position to effect the media. that and tina fey. here are two examples:

kenneth does "top that" from teen witch. if you've never seen this movie, it's hilarious. ultimate corny teen movie from the 90's, my sister loved it and so i had to watch it TONS (feel very sorry for me please). so, there's this "cool" group at school of three guys who "rap," with their boom box and fluorescent clothes (check out the dance moves, HAHAHAHAHAHA!). but the one laugh my ass off part in the movie was when the witch girl uses her "powers" to enable her shy friend to finally talk (or, more accurately, rap) to the guy... here's the clip
"look at how funky he is."
and here's tina fey's shout out to my days of youth by having kenneth reprise the rap on last week's episode of 30 rock:

doogie howser, m.d. who knew neil patrick harris has been around so long and is still around?! wow, it seems like he'll be forever connected to our generation huh? first doogie, then rent (which we actually saw with him in it on that pasedena trip, i admit i didn't really like it all that much, but got a huge kick out of seeing doogie in it), and now he's on that other show that's kinda crappy, but he was on snl yesterday so check out this doogie tribute:
