#27 - miami

This picture has absolutely nothing to do with anything except that i saw it whilst internet surfing and couldn't stop laughing for a full minute. i think it's natalie imbruglia, or whatever her name is. in keeping with the randomness of this picture... this post will be about a bunch of things that have been running through my head this week, mostly because i'm on vacation and so these thoughts aren't pushed out of my brain by other, work-related thoughts and they have time to stew up in there. so here we go!

1. miami - march is a great month for sports, march madness, vball, and two great pro tennis tournaments. first, indian wells (pacific life open) during the first two weeks of march and then miami (sony ericsson open, formerly nasdaq 100 open) the last two weeks. what's so great/different about these tournaments is that, like the grand slams, matches are played over two whole weeks and both men and women play at the same time. which means fun for me.

2. federer - biggest news probably... roger federer lost in his first round at that first tournament to gillermo canas (who's actually a pretty good player, made some nice runs in 2002-2003 and even figured to be a player in the us open those years, but got caught doping and was suspended for a couple of years and only now is starting to come back). he was on a 41-match winning streak, and if he won that tournament he would've broken the all-time record for consecutive match wins. but oh well, he's still the best, a shock though... even more so, at the very next tournament (just a couple of weeks later too), he faced canas again in the fourth round and LOST again! whaa? geez... but, he's still the best. have faith.

3. serena - whoa, check out serena williams. hardly played last year 'cause of injuries or whatever. starts brand new at the aus. open and wins the whole darn thing (while being ranked like #84 in the world or something) over maria sharapova. so, now this is just her third tournament this year and is already into the quarterfinals. i feel sorry for maria though, she had to play venus (and beat her, tough match), and then the next day play serena just to get to the quarterfinals. geez. good on serena though, man, she's tough.

4. get over it - something funky happened during one of serena's matches, she was getting heckled constantly by some fan sitting right behind her in the arena. apparently the guy was being obscene or whatever, but then he yelled the "n" word at her and she got all flustered and pleaded with the head ref to get him ejected. which okay, 1) you're a pro athlete, people are gonna yell at you, you don't get everyone who yells at you ejected, 2) she was so concerned that she was in danger because he could've been a "stalker" or something as she said, i can kinda see the validity of that, only because i'm sure everyone still remembers what happened to monica seles (she was stabbed during a match by a crazy fan), and 3) she only got really upset once he yelled the "n" word at her.

BIG FRICKIN' DEAL!

i have a huge pet peeve about people getting so bent out of shape about that word. it's just a word. people who take such stupendous offense at hearing that word must remember that it is the listener that is assigning all meaning to that word. whatever connotation they believe it holds against them, is really just that... what meaning they believe it holds. and, of course, the famous catchphrase people like to use after hearing that word... "as a proud african american, you do not have the RIGHT to say that word to me." or something to that effect anyway. i hate that line.... anyone can say whatever they want... it's up to YOU whether or not you want to listen. so just get off your high horses and shut up about that damn word already. are you slaves? NO! were your parents slaves? NO! were your grandparents slaves? NO! so tough luck already. deal with it. and if someone calls you the "n" word, big whoop, flip 'em the bird and continue on your merry little way.

5. lost sucks - do i care about these two people who i've never seen before? NO! do i want MORE backstory so that i forget what the real storyline is? NO! will i watch lost again next week? .... yes, dammit.

although it was kinda funny how they kept showing them in old shots, like at the airplane, and it's completely obvious that they weren't actually in the original scene. in my opinion, that's irresponsible storytelling. boo, lost writers, boo. see, what's happening to lost is that they had no plan. well, no plan beyond the first season that is. and then the show got hotter and they ran out of storyline. so what do they do? make crap up and stuff it all in there. what makes certain tv series really great is foresight (*cough**buffy**cough*). knowing where the story-arc is gonna start and end each season (and if you can stretch that to a couple of seasons, good on you) and planning for that (that includes filming what you need to film and limiting those plot holes). but for lost, that was just irresponsible. it was not believable and should not have been included... but then again, they've got a whole hour to fill and they're already trying to stretch out this season's storyline anyway, so what else can they do? they were screwed. haha.

6. okay, it's been a pretty angry post, so let's end with the good stuff. i got to go surfing today, went to ali'i beach park. i wasn't gonna go because surf report said flat, but i just wanted to be out in the water and sun so it was all good. then, when i got there, the sets were actually pretty nice. long time to wait inbetween, but that suited me fine because i could sit there and enjoy the ocean. then, since it was such a long wait, everyone cleared out soon after i got there, so for awhile there were only three of us out there, so it was like, wait, enjoy the sun, see the rocks at the bottom through the crystal clear water, and when a wave comes just catch it 'cause there's no one else out there. so, pretty nice, relaxing... it was a good day.

#26 - cool pics?

i ran across a website today (click here)... some kind of wikipedia photo contest or something. i didn't care to read the details, but here are three cool pics that were showcased. none of them won... the winning picture was a shot of the northern lights somewhere, but it didn't really impress me all that much. then there was this bird on a branch in the snow... and that was like 3rd place.. then there was this dirty bum with shopping cart and that was 2nd. what the crap? haha, i have little appreciation for most art i guess. actually, i prefer to think that i just have very discriminating tastes... okay, yeah, not the best thing to be bragging about, but eh. anyway, i thought this picture (above) of the san francisco airport was cool. check out the moon through the clouds in the pic below too. then the last one is a pretty cool close up of a match igniting.

Posted by Picasa

now... take a look at my ali'i beach park pic... eh? eh???!! don't you think i could've won? haha. then check out that "waianae wall" pic two posts ago.. now THAT one is my winner, mos def.

#25 - production

i told myself last night that today would be a productive day... i'd get some work done (not real work, personal work, like taxes and stuff), get a good workout in somehow, enjoy the nice weather outside, play with the a-dawg, get some tennis in, whatever.

i woke up at 12:00 noon.

what's up with that? i know i've always had difficulty waking up early (re: excessive tardiness grades PreK-12), but this is getting ridiculous. of course, i am on vacation so i'm not feeling too bad about getting a full 11 hours of sleep, but when i get up i'm still exhausted. it's weird. don't tell me 11 hours of sleep STILL isn't enough, geez. anyway, so of course i couldn't get everything done that i wanted to today. usually that would make me feel really guilty, since i had all these plans and i couldn't get it accomplished. like during the work week when i'd plan to go to the gym after work and then something comes up that makes me work longer or i have to do family stuff and stay at home, i'd get real angry. but that's dumb. i gotta learn to go with the flow more and not get so caught up in my own scheduling and whatever.

anyway, that was the big fat epiphany that i had a couple of months ago... then i stopped worrying about those days that i missed my weekly gym workout or skipped a day surfing at the beach to couch potato it all day. sounds like the wrong direction to go right? sounds like i'm missing opportunities for fun and enjoyment? right, that's what i thought, but actually, those things had become less fun because i was constantly thinking that i need to be taking every opportunity to do those things when i can, especially since i started working full-time. so, in reality, even though they were fun things to do, making them so pre-planned and scheduled made them more stress-inducers than relievers.

so in the end... i decided to stop beating myself up everytime i skipped a workout or didn't go to the beach every sunny spring day. and that's worked out. i think that i had taken all those "seize the day" and "live with no regrets" quotes a bit too seriously. i thought that if i wasn't using every chance i get while i'm young and healthy to do these things, that i'd miss my opportunities and be sorry for it later. so everytime i'd go with my gut and against that, i'd feel guilty and depressed that'd i'd wasted my time. but that ain't right. you're always doing something (otherwise you'd be dead)... and if it ain't what you planned to do, that don't make it any worse (no matter how great you think your plans are). just gotta go with where life takes you and be glad that it got you there.

ps - so what did i do today instead of what i had planned?
- got an annual safety check for my car
- got an oil change
- ordered some upgrades for my new home
- babysat the nephew
- played with the a-dawg
- played the piano
- went to bed early

#24 - kick start to spring break

whoa, long time since my last post, and TONS happened since as well... it's hard to write everything in a little blog like this (and convey the same kind of excitement that the news brought in real life), so i'll just list everything that's happened, and you can let your excitement build within you... ha.

1. last thursday and friday i went to my annual work convention at ala moana. i don't care too much for going to these things (well, just because our state convention is pretty dinky and generic), but i do like to listen to speakers who have absolutely NOTHING to do with my job. haha, okay so speech path is a very broad field, and although i work with the kiddies, my original interest in the field was adult neurogenics (like post-stroke, tbi, dementia, cancer patients, etc.). unfortunately, the demands on working life (and, consequently, non-working life) for the medical/private practice field are completely beyond my aspirations... therefore, i have compromised by getting a job where working life and non-working life are very nicely balanced. not that kids aren't interesting (because for the most part they act like either tbi or dementia patients anyway), but academically and intellectually, i LOVE neuroscience. so everytime i see my old professor at these things she asks, "when are you gonna get your ph.d. already?" and i've gotta say something like, "i'm still too close outta school, gotta decompress a bit." but really, i have absolutely no desire or ambition to get a ph.d. although studying neuroscience would kinda rock... i have no ambition for research, or writing a thesis, or anything. so i'm content to just spark up that intellectual interest whenever a neuro-kid comes along, or whenever i get to listen to a speaker like this at a convention.

so our speaker was pretty cool, he had a neat indian accent, and it was all neuroanatomy, physiology, and neuro-imaging (all of which i could listen to all day). not too practical for my working purposes... but it's all stuff i learned in grad school anyway so it's good to be able to exercise that part of my brain every year or so so that i don't forget all that great stuff. maybe one day i'll use it...

2. the BIGGEST news.... I GOT THE PLACE! i'm in total shock. those guys who reserved the townhouse unit in front of me (re: lottery post about a month ago) backed out so.... i'm moving out! it's pretty sweet, and moving very very fast... i meet with the mortgage officer, signed my sales contract, and i'm already having to look at upgrade options and kitchen cabinets and whatever. whew.. i'm glad that they won't be finished with construction until december though... because i'm not ready to move out yet, but give me another 9 months to get myself together and i'll be good to go. well, lots to think about right now, and i can't convey it all in writing, so i'll leave it at that... oh, by the way, it's unit #2704.

3. my relient k cd finally came in! woo hoo! i haven't finished listening to the whole thing yet, but i'm liking what i hear.

4. went surfing today at haleiwa, man it was frickin' freezing! but real clean, nice... and the weather was pretty good, a bit too windy, but bright clear sun and all. i'm loving this spring break thing.

ps - the pic up there is from zak noyle, it's called "waianae wall," i'm thinking that needs to go in my new place

#22 - jake and rimi

so as always after my american idol posts i have to go and listen to some real music because i feel guilty about indulging in so much pop culture, haha. so let me share with you someone you've heard of a lot and someone who you've probably never heard of at all.

first up is jake shimabukuro... i love this guy's music. so creative. plus lightning fast on that 'uke which is way cool, i got his latest album "gently weeps," very good, i recommend it highly.

the second is rimi natsukawa, you've probably never heard of her because she's a japanese singer, actually from okinawa and sings japanese contemporary with a little bit of a traditional enka or okinawan twist... anyway, i think she's got just about the purest voice i've ever heard... take a listen to this song (and don't mind the hand motions, i think she's singing a baby lullaby or something weird like that):

and as a bonus... here's jake and rimi with KONISHIKI!!! weird... but not bad (ps - check out the clarinet chorus they got going on):

#21 - american idol top 12

man, how did american idol get so funny all of a sudden? i nearly died after paula frickin' cried like a hideous baby after melinda's song... and then they pan over to simon and he's cracking up too! ha. good stuff. anyway, exciting show tonight, not because they were singing good, but dramas man, haha. so, here's my top 12 picks:

1. melinda - yeah, the song itself was boring, but she's still the best
2. lakisha - never really liked her before, but she wasn't screaming this song so it sounded good, and a good choice too
3. jordyn - cheesy song, but she sang real well, i like her very clear voice
4. stephanie - well, i didn't know the song to begin with so i didn't know what part i "missed out" on, i thought it was good
5. chris richardson - yeah his voice is kinda weak, and he tried to be justin timberlake, but good enough
6. blake - yeah that arrangement was weird, and crappy, but i still like the guy
7. chris sligh - i didn't like his arrangement either, but good enough
8. gina - i never liked her either, but damn it think she's growing on me... nah, probably because she sings different types of songs
9. haley - don't laugh... i actually think she has a nice little soft voice, but yeah, not that good (kinda like antonella i think, i liked her voice too, but she just wasn't a good singer)
10. phil - so creepy looking, i don't care too much for him
11. sanjaya - good gravy what's up with his hair? he looks like sideshow bob. just sing LOUDER!
12. brandon - completely obnoxious... he must leave.

anyone else missing that creepy little filipino guy? no? yeah, you're right... it don't matter.

#21 - ali'i beach park

This pic was taken about two months ago at Ali'i Beach Park in Haleiwa. After surfing (it was freezing and i was getting kinda pounded on my longboard so i took a little break), i sat on the sand for awhile and it was a nice, sunny day so i decided to snap some shots. I love playing the focus and stuff on the camera (i've yet to learn about anything else really...) so here's a shot with the focus shifted to the background, cool huh? I take a lot of shots of the ocean because i love the way the light plays with the water, and up on north shore where the water's crystal clear you get a great sense of that.

Anyway, i'm posting this pic because it's been awhile since the weather & my schedule have been able to cooperate enough to get me out to the beach. but, spring break's coming up so i'll be spending muchos time on the north shore, that'll be nice. so these last few days of work will be hella nasty busy, but after that it's two whole weeks to myself, and that'd be killer. so here's praying for nice weather...

#20 - whee

check it out! i got a wii!

this one kinda caught me by surprise, i wasn't planning on buying one, but a friend of mine had put some extras on reserve so she offered me one, and well, i just had to take it. weird because i really stopped playing video games altogether after super nintendo. i never got into playstation or game cube or whatever, i like the 2-dimension-ality of super mario, i'll take pixels over 3D views any day. but the wii is something very different so i thought i'd give it a shot. and yup, i'm completely hooked now.

i've only got one game so far (the one it came with, wii sports), but damn if it ain't fun. i do that fitness test every day. but my fave is tennis. it ain't like real tennis, some things are a bit disappointing (like you can't really hit an inside out... anything), but it's just a game so how much can you really expect? it's good enough, and plenty fun too.. by the way, my tennis "skill level" = 2135, booyah! that's pro baby.

ps - in other tennis related news... Roger lost today! what?! in the second round of the pacific life open, geez, lost to canas who came back after that like 2 year drug suspension. man, shocker... but roger will be back, and now at least roddick has a chance to win something, haha.

#19 - interlude

while i'm waiting on my relient k cd to come in the mail (darn domestic shipping), i'll tell you a little bit about the last cd i bought... don't laugh. yeah, i bought the justin timberlake cd, but wait, let me defend myself. i'd been hearing those first two singles on the radio forever and darn it if they don't get stuck in your head. so i was gonna just buy it for 99 cents on itunes but then itunes was being a punk so i decided to just go be a consumer and buy the real cd. but here's the thing, it ain't bad. haha. well, the songs are damn catchy, and although there are a couple that are kinda like the nsync throw-backs that i thought the whole cd would have, most of the songs are actually a bit original sounding. the title track is actually not too shabby and i'm liking "lovestoned" right now.

anyway, another random thought... go see "my super ex-girlfriend." haha, a dumb movie yeah, but i love it when shows take really over-the-top concepts and make them real mundane. i think that's why i liked buffy the vampire slayer so much and can't stand to watch all those high-drama shows like "24" or whatever. too much drama, everyone needs to calm down. anyway, definately go see that movie, my favorite line?

"why did g-girl throw a shark at us?"

**EDIT** - i completely forgot to mention that the reason why i bought the whole cd (and not just a couple of songs) is that in between the songs there are little remixes to conclude the song or prelude into the next song, which is pretty darn cool. anyway, i'm almost tempted to think that justin timberlake might be kinda cool... what the heck is wrong with me!?! who am i, joseph? how embarrassing...

#18 - sympathy, part 2

okay, so antonella got out. i'm kinda sad. not that she was a great singer, but there are some nice things about her voice that you can pick out of her songs... like a couple of words here or there that sound really nice, surrounded by junk. oh well, she can go be a model now 'cause she's BE-U-TI-FUL. also, I liked when she sang again after she got out because that was kinda funny.

i'm not sad at all about the guys that got out. although i really don't want to see anymore of that black afro guy, he bugs the crap outta me.

i felt a bit bad for sabrina... but she wasn't THAT great a singer, and i had a feeling she would be vulnerable, so it doesn't really matter. plus i was feeling sorry for haley, but now i feel even MORE sorry for her because she knows she's the bottom link and that everyone's gonna be mad at her for staying when sabrina got booted. oh well, i don't think it matters that much because the real top 5 or so are pretty untouchable i think. so my top picks are:

1. melinda
2. chris richardson
3. chris sligh
4. stephanie edwards
5. blake lewis

everyone likes lakisha, but i think she's kinda dull, but she can sing pretty well so maybe she'll get better. oh well, it's only the beginning of the real show now so we'll see who gets better and who gets boring, ha.

#17 - sympathy

okay, so the girls completely blow the guys out of the water... but i'm feeling very sympathetic for antonella and haley. not because i want them to stay in, they ain't horrible singers but c'mon, they got no chance. and that's sad because they can't do any better. that's just it for them and they're getting slammed for it. so what am i gonna do? i'll just vote for the people who i think really have a chance for the end, that'd be jordyn and melinda. i don't like lakisha very much, sure she can sing loudly and everything, but boring eh? on the other hand, here's some not great singers, but interesting to watch from yesterday's show ('cause they didn't put up the girls yet...):

blake lewis - that 311 song

chris richardson - tonight i wanna cry

Tuesday, March 6, 2007

#16 - junk

wow, tonight's american idol was crappy. i don't want to hear any of those guys again. but i have to choose someone to root for, so i'll vote for blake and the two chris'. or is it chris's. i read a memo today that said when you use the possessive "'s" you have to add "'s" to every singular noun even if it has an "s" already at the end. that means all the times that i've written chris' watch and james' keys i really should have written chris's watch and james's keys. that just looks wrong. blah... hopefully the girls will be better tomorrow.

and since this week was so crappy (and since i figured out this youtube thing), here's a quick look back at some of my favorite early (very early) performances:

blake lewis - somewhere only we know = i like his beat box, but he actually doesn't sound too bad singing this. but realistically, i think in my head i give him a lot of outs on the singing because i want him to stay in for the combo of singing, beat box, etc.

blake lewis - virtual insanity = okay, here you can tell he ain't the best singer, and it does sound just like the original (down to the dancing), but it's kinda cool

jordyn sparks - give me one reason

melinda doolittle - since you've been gone

melinda doolittle - my funny valentine = the BEST by FAR, i love it when girls can pull off those low notes

and because he's unfortunately gone now and we're stuck with crappy guys...
aj tabaldo - feelin good = damn if it ain't creepy, but the singing's good

ps - didn't get my relient k cd in the mail today... here's hoping for tomorrow.

#15 - shoot

i'm starting a new label category = shoot

this category will be for my endeavors in photography. nothing serious, i always wanted to take an actual photography class in high school/college, but never got the chance and i've been looking for some like community classes or whatever, but haven't found anything beyond "digital camera photoshop for beginners" so... not quite. so i figure i'd teach myself some basic photography skills. maybe i'll get a book about basic lighting, focus, apeture, whatever, i don't even know what those terms mean.

but anyway, i think photography is great. it's about the only art form that i'll actually pay money for and have on a few occassions. pretty much because it's no about creating something "artificial," but about capturing a single instance of what's already here before us (albeit from different viewpoints). one of the first things that will go in my new house (whenever that happens) will be photography on the walls. i would really love to buy one of those big tri-pic works of like ocean surf or light and water, but right now i've got nowhere to put it. since i moved back home i've put up a few in my room, but i'm kinda running out of places to put them. right now i've got a couple of surf pics up (one of some bambucha crushing waimea wave and one of the blue sky through a crystal clear shorebreak wave-manini view). i just bought a panoramic slice of waimea bay during winter and last weekend i bought one from a new photographer i found of some early morning north shore breaks. here's a preview:

this one i picked out of about 20 crystal clear waves and perfect curls because of the lighting. the early morning lighting gives it some kinda substance that caught my attention. but anyway, i'm thinking i might buy another one or two of this guy's work, if you're interested, check it out at www.zaknoyle.com

a few of my other faves are called "viewout" and "waianae wall," if you check it out...

anyway, so i'll be testing out some of my own photographs (i wish i could get myself a little waterproof digital camera or something) under this category and posting in the future, hope you like!

#14 - is it only monday?

damn this week is slow... today i thought it was thursday, then wednesday, then tuesday, but crappy-do-da it's only monday. well... that means that it's time to reflect and look forward. starting with last weekend:

saturday - went to ala moana for my once-in-forever shopping trip. haha, nah, i had a purpose for going, but mainly it was to get out of the house (since i didn't want to go surfing in the rain). but this trip was surprisingly successful... got myself some new tennis shoes from mccully bicycle, boardshorts from pacsun, a cd, a few gifts, a toothbrush holder, and some real nice photography (see next post). plus, got to check out some new shops and even had a nice dinner at the food court (despite the "rat-infested" rumors). there's a new stand at the food court selling okonomiyaki, a really really weird combination of food, but pretty darn tasty. this one's called a "hiroshima okonomiyaki" because it's got noodles in addition to the "pancake," cabbage, bean sprouts, pork, egg, green onions, special sauce and whatever the heck else is in that thing. looks like an octopus threw up but it was real yummy.

it's amazing how the tiniest things can give you the greatest semblence of freedom. since i won't be getting my own place anytime soon, i figure it would be a good idea to begin to reclaim what i already have. for example, my bathroom. since my sister FINALLY moved out, i can reclaim my part of the bathroom, meaning i get to put my things in the upper cabinet instead of the lower cabinet. woo hoo, but it makes a difference anyway. one thing that has really given me some feeling of freedom though is buying myself a new toothbrush holder. this is my old toothbrush holder (don't even look inside, mildew-ville): and here's the new toothbrush holder! nice and shinny eh?
Okay, so that's a look back... now let's take a look forward:

Monday - heroes = i'm really liking this show, primarily because tons of stuff happens on each show (unlike some other hour-long shows *cough*lost*cough*) and the storylines are pretty interesting.... OKAY I'VE BEEN TYPING THIS BLOG WHILE WATCHING TONIGHT'S EPISODE AND I MUST NOW RETRACT ALL THE GOOD THINGS I'VE SAID ABOUT HEROES BECAUSE THEY JUST ANNOUNCED THAT THE NEXT NEW EPISODE WILL BE ON APRIL 23RD!!! what the crap is that? you've got all this momentum building in the storyline and then wait 7 weeks for the next show? you've gotta be crappin' me. that's it, i'm done with this show, see ya losers.

Tuesday - relient k's new cd comes out! woo hoo! still gotta wait for it to come in the mail but it was shipped last friday so c'mon good old domestic shipping! i have faith!

Wednesday - meeting with the co-workers so maybe some drinks afterwork? sounds good.

Thursday - two episodes of the office! woo hoo!

Friday - duh, it's friday!

Okay, so not too much going on (yet), but it's a start.

#13 - waiting on the mail to come

waiting for march 6th... the new album by relient k comes out. at first i was gonna rush out and buy it on tuesday morning for that instant gratification, but i kept getting presale emails for the past few weeks and i just couldn't hold out any longer (they kept offering better and better freebies, what could i do?) so i pre-ordered it online. which is good, but the mail... oh the mail. i've been screwed by the mail oh so many times. i was even gonna rush mail it, but that wasn't even an option to hawaii. oh well, i'll just have to trust that "domestic shipping" delivers it on time... crossing fingers. but until then... previews on myspace are awesome. haha.

#12 - sucks

usually i don't really care about who gets voted off on american idol (1. because it's a tv show and they've got their "fame" already and can go on with their lives, 2. because there's so many votes that if you can somehow get people to vote for you that many times, there's at least some reason for it), but i feel sorry for the four people who got out tonight.

1. pedro guy - seems like an okay guy, not too good, not too bad, i guess that's why he got out, but i have sympathy for him
2. beautiful girl #1 - ok obviously when the judges picked her they knew that her voice couldn't hold a candle to all those other black girls on the show, so basically they picked her because she's pretty and thought at least they could get some people to watch her because of that. but she herself must have known that she was way out of her league and that must've been embarassing to sing and know that you suck compared to everyone else and then have the judges (who picked you in the first place) tell you that you've got no potential to do good in the competition (which they must've known from the beginning). but then again... she got to be "that beautiful girl" on tv.
3. creepy little filipino guy - aww, i thought he did really good. but he's creepy. but he's got a good voice. but he's also got a moderately creepy fem performing style. but he auditioned like 5 times with a pretty good voice and couldn't do any better than this. too bad.
4. weird goofy looking girl - well, i don't really like her because she's too weird, but i still feel sorry for her because she looked really sad. hmm... maybe after feeling sorry for everyone else the feeling was contagious.

anyway, by the time next week comes around i won't care so it's all good. they had their time, and now it's done.

okay, next post will be american idol-less and back to the original point of my blog, promise.
