remember "tool time" with "tim the tool-man taylor?" i never really liked that show but somehow it was always on so i ended up watching it a lot. now that sidekick guy is the host for the new family feud (a show that i liked to watch much more). anyway, i've been feeling kinda homely lately, and i'm a man of inspiration... meaning i don't do something until that spark of inspiration finally strikes, and then i'm full-force all the way. for instance, after i had put all that sod into my yard, i really wasn't feeling big on continuing the gardening. but then a couple of weeks ago i saw a home depot add with these bamboo borders, and i had been thinking that i wanted something to cover up that gap underneath my white fence (the cats/dogs/toads were getting in and leaving me disgusting little presents all the time), so this was perfect! but then i went and they were all sold out... so this week it was in the ads again, and on thursday (the day the ad came out) i went after work, bought 12 of them, brought 'em home and banged the yard out all in one afternoon.
sweet huh? so that's how i do things (wow, i was almost gonna write "that's how i roll," that would've been embarrassing). i don't got much motivation normally, but when inspiration hits i don't wanna stop or sleep until i get it finished, it's almost a compulsion, but at least i gets it done right?
next project... paint. i wanna re-paint, or at least add to the painting on the inside of my house... i'm thinking of continuing the gray color in my living room to the other walls and maybe switching out some of that green in my bedrooms. i'm not quite sure what to do yet, but now that i've painted once already, i've kinda got a better sense of what to do, and the best part about paint... if it comes out crappy, just paint over it!
